The following may be researched by individuals desiring the information
either online http://data.visionappraisal.com/NewportVT/ or in the assessor's
office:
1. Property transfer and ownership information (Granter and Grantee, deed, book and page, sale date, and sale price).
2. Physical descriptions and assessed values of taxable properties.
The following additional information is available in the assessor's office:
1. Property record files.
2. Tax maps.
3. Copies of recent Grand Lists.
Miscellaneous:
1. Copies of assessor produced public records are available in the following formats:
a) Paper copies of all records.
Note: Copies of documents officially lodged with the City Clerk, such as deeds, plats and Official Grand List, should be obtained from that office. Copies of proprietary materials should be obtained from the owner.
